Tose Proeski sculpture goes up at Art Bridge

A sculpture of late Macedonian singer Tose Proeski was erected at the Art Bridge on river Vardar in Skopje on Thursday.

The sculpture is part of 29 to be placed at the new bridge, 14 each on both sides and one in the center.

The central sculpture is dedicated to the Miladinov brothers, whereas the ones at the sides will represent renowned authors, artists, composers, actors etc.

1,900 year old sculpture unearthed in Stobi

The Isis sculpture, the ancient Goddess of fertility is said to be at least 1,900 years old, is over 2m tall and well preserved much to the surprise of experts.

This is the second such sculpture enarthed in Stobi, which proved the believe of Macedonian archeologists that the location was home to worshippers. It took archeologists 4 years to locate the sculpture.
